Updated September 3, 2018

This is not the first time that I listed down my own bucket list, maybe this is the fourth already. A few years back, I was reading a friend’s blog and came over to his “50 Things I Want To Do Before I Die” post. I was inspired to make my own list and shared it with my then blog. Priorities have changed, and so I have updated the list.

These are the 50 Things I Want To Do Before I Die (as of 19 October 2015) list, in no particular order:

1.  Go back to writing haikus
2.  Go to Ayutthaya
3.  Live in New York for a month
4.  Work in a publication
5.  Travel across Europe
6.  Celebrate New Year’s Eve with my Lola Pacing
7.  Have a conversation with Ricky Lee
8.  Go to Batanes
9.  Grow old with someone [Note: Hindi priority!]
10. Buy a house in Baguio
11. Death by macarons [preferably in Paris]
12. Advance my digital marketing skills

16. See a Broadway show (preferably starring Lea Salonga or Kristin Chenoweth)
17. Produce a documentary
18. Learn how to bake
19. Go on a road trip
20. Learn how to play the guitar or the piano
21. Start a travel blog
22. See Grand Canyon and shout out my feelings (if there is, lol)
23. Gatecrash a party
24. Visit the Library of Congress
25. Design a house or even a room
26. Eat Buffalo wings in Buffalo, New York
27. Produce an editorial for a fashion magazine
28. Visit Rome and see the Pope
29. Sponsor an event for writing
30. Write a book
31. Go to South Korea and the Jeju Island and meet their mermaids
32. Learn to speak French, fluently
33. Be in two different countries at the same time
34. Be a barista
35. See Anna Wintour, Karl Lagerfeld and Grace Coddington [in person]
36. Go to Cannes Film Festival
37. See an auction live
38. Own a Barong Tagalog
39. Have a photo taken by Mark Nicdao or BJ Pascual
40. Celebrate my birthday alone in New York
41. Own a Ben Cab painting (click here)
42. Have a tattoo
43. Go to Coachella
44. Cook dinner for family and friends
45. Have a family photo of my clan
46. Meet Madonna
47. See a celebrity walking in Hollywood
48. Travel across United States
49. Photo with a lion or a tiger

• Exactly a year ago, I had the privilege of styling THE Piolo Pascual for an impromptu shoot. My dear friend and constant collaborator, @shotbylester, arranged it. I had one day to prepare, and source looks for him. I admit it may not suffice the stature of our talent, but I made it work. As a matter of fact, he didn’t care at all, as long as he is dressed and looked at his best.

It must be said too that although he has accomplished a superstardom success and maintained his matinee idol image in the realm of Philippine showbusiness, Piolo Pascual is still grounded to his core.
